Most agents learn negotiation on the job. Tom mastered it as a senior lawyer in boardrooms and courtrooms long before stepping into real estate.

Before entering real estate, Tom spent 15 years as a top-tier corporate lawyer in Sydney and Brisbane, working on high-stakes disputes where agile negotiation, clear thinking and steady decision-making were essential. He was also a senior lawyer at two of Australia’s major banks, which gave him a deep understanding of the finance and lending process – experience that quietly saves sales from issues other agents don’t even see coming.

Junee, NSW (1989): Me (3) and older brother, David, trying to rescue our cat, Hardie. As one of four kids growing up in the bush, we had a lot of adventures and learnt to problem-solve from an early age.

Tom’s unique legal background underpins the way Tom represents his clients: attention to detail, composed under pressure, solutions-driven, and highly strategic without ever losing sight of the people involved.

Raised as the second of four children in rural NSW, Tom learned early that hard work, integrity and community aren’t optional. Today, Tom lives in Samford on a hobby farm with his wife Cecilia, two children and dog, Milo. Family and community aren’t a footnote for Tom — they are the grounding that shows up in the care he brings to every client, every time.

Tom brings something else most agents don’t: hands-on renovation experience. He recently transformed a double-storey brick home in Ferny Grove — untouched since 1970 — into a stunning five-bedroom, three-bathroom family home. The secret weapon? Using his legal expertise to interpret the property code and work with the certifier to reclassify the downstairs area as habitable space. This experience and attention to detail allows Tom to help clients and buyers identify opportunities others may miss, while providing honest, informed advice around value, improvements and long-term outcomes.

Here’s what Tom believes most agents get wrong: they talk too much. Tom listens.

He finds out what sellers love about their home — then tells that story to buyers with genuine conviction. With buyers, he asks smart questions, understands what’s really holding them back, and moves negotiations forward with patience and precision. When he does speak, there’s no jargon, no performance — just clear, honest communication at your pace.

From the first conversation, Tom’s building a real relationship — not running a transaction. He wants to know your story, your goals, and what a great result actually means to you.

Because selling your home isn’t just numbers. It’s memories. It’s land you’ve cared for. It’s the end of one chapter of your life and the beginning of another. For Tom, representing you in achieving the best outcome in the sale of your home is a privilege and a responsibility that drives him every day.

Sydney, NSW (2011): Me (25) with mum after my admission as a lawyer

Tom’s path into real estate isn’t typical… and that’s exactly why it works.

Patagonia, Argentina (2017): Me (31) and my wife, Cecilia, on our honeymoon. Travel and hiking have taken us to some incredible places and taught me to always be curious.
Samford, Queensland (2026): Me (40) with George (1) and Summer (4). These little legends are my “why” in everything I do.
